Band leader Craig Harnath encourages the members to record any and all ideas, capturing some amazing first takes from the guys many times throughout the recording sessions. An exceptional sound engineer and owner of Hot House Audio, Craig is instrumental in keeping the band's work flow tight and creative. This swift approach to recording is tempered by down-time periods where the band simply talk shit and laugh hard.

The New Songs Chart a Focused Direction for the Band : Record Everything...

Plantopia has a long history with Hot House Audio as the studio is owned and operated by the band's singer/bass player and captain, Craig Harnath. Craig formed Plantopia in 2018 to bring together all of his close friends and associates within the Australian music industry to create music without restraint. In fact, many of Melbourne's most renowned singers have graced the Plantopia recordings over the past years as well as instrument players of equal acclaim. Craig's approach has been very successful, culminating in three albums of note in the period. The band is currently working on the fourth album release and will be ready to drop new Australian music in 2027.

The Band has Chronicled the Recording Sessions Through this "Studio Notes" area of their Website.
